Westminster’s Orsino Sets Records

Westminster Academy senior receiver Josh Orsino set two Broward County single season records on Thursday night. Orsino caught 16 passes against Somerset, giving him 76 receptions for the season, breaking the mark set by Calvary Christian's Kyle Whitley (74 in 2009). The 6-1, 190-pound standout also totaled 256 yards against Somerset, giving him 1,496 yards on the season, eclipsing his own record set last season (1,360). In 2010, Orsino also set another single season county record, catching 22 touchdown passes.
